Monday Movie Meme: The Big Draw

A weekly movie meme hosted by The Bumbles Blog.

This week's Feature Presentation topic is The Big Draw... Animation! Share your blog on movies whose drawn, digitized or old school clay figures that rock your world.

Eventhough they are only animations, these movies also touched our hearts. Come on admit it. XD

A) The Land Before Time (1988)- Who can resist Littlefoot? Even if the theme song became the most overrated song after the movie was shown.

B) The Incredibles (2004)- I wish there was a sequel. I want to watch what happen to Jack-jack and the rest of the kids.

C) Wall-E (2008) - The little robot and his loneliness just grabbed at my heart.

D) Meet The Robinsons (2007) - What is with orphans? First Littlefoot, then Lewis. I was really surprise by this movie. I never expected it to be good.

E) Ice Age 2 (2006) - They had me at "Play dead" and "I believe I can fly".

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I've only seen Wall-E, but I did love him too.

The Ice Age movies are pretty clever, and Wall-E was just amazing. Funny, I liked Wall-E quite a bit more than my kids. I think it needed an adult's mind to understand the underlying message perhaps.

Don't be embarrassed Stacy. I haven't watched The Toy Story series. =)

Sandy, you're right about Wall-E. The kids will appreciate the robot's cuteness but probably won't get the underlying message.

Guys, we forgot the cooking rat: Ratatouille!

Or should I say the chef rat. =)

Oooo - I watched The Land Before Time while trapped in the back of a minivan with young children not related to me during a ride home from a ski trip. It was really good! The movie - not the ride ;0)

Young children can get on the nerves hehehe... The never ending "why" questions. =)
